The Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St., is kicking off winter learning with a big building extravaganza as Legos will be available daily and Lego Challenge boxes will be available to check out.

The Start Your Own Fiber Arts Club will meet Monday through Friday from 2-5 pm beginning January 31st. Friends can get together after school to work on knitting and crochet projects together. The library will provide the needles and thread. The History Makers space upstairs is reserved daily for tween and teen fiber arts groups, and instruction sessions are also available on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. .

Intro to Needle Felting is Wednesday, February 9 at 3:30 pm Participants ages 11-17 can do a Reading Colors Your World themed project at this introductory needle felting workshop. Registration required. Space is limited.

My First Book Club for children ages 4-6 meets Wednesday, February 2 and March 2 at 4 pm Sign up and come to the library to check out your copy of this month’s title. Read it at home, then join in a kid-sized discussion and activity at the library. Caregiver participation may be required for the activity segment of the meeting.

Curious Minds Book Club meets Wednesday, February 16 and March 16 at 4 p.m. Youth ages 7 to 10 choose a book from the monthly book list to read, then meet to share books, followed by a science-based activity in the library. This in-person book club will have a hybrid option for any participant who prefers to attend the discussion from home.

The Families Read Roald Dahl Book Club meets Wednesday, February 23 and March 23 at 4 pm Each month a novel by children’s author Roald Dahl will be featured. This gives caregivers and older siblings a chance to take turns reading aloud to enjoy the story and improve reading skills together. Participating families will receive a copy of the book to keep in their home libraries. This in-person book club will have a hybrid option for participants who prefer to attend from home.

Silly Stuffie Sleepover delivery is Friday, February 25, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and pick-up is Saturday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dolls and stuffed animals are invited to spend the night in the library for a silly sleepover. Kids can drop off their stuffed animals on Friday and keep an eye on the library’s Facebook page all night to see what they’re up to.

Silly Stuffie Pajama Storytime is Friday, February 25 at 7 pm via Facebook Live. Kids can join their stuffed animals online for a pajama story hour.
