Lenten fish fries listings wanted

Slow is just around the corner! The Stroller is compiling a list of fish fries taking place Ash Wednesday and/or Fridays during Lent.

Meals On Wheels volunteers needed

Highlands Meals On Wheels is seeking volunteers to deliver food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to local residents.

Bowl-A-Thon to raise money for foundation

The annual Bowl-A-Thon, sponsored by the Burrell Education Foundation, will be from 1 to 4 pm Feb. 20 at Wildlife Lanes, 1000 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell.

Cost is $25 per bowler; $45 for 2 or $90 for a 4-person team. There will be prizes, a silent auction and 50/50. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

The Bowl-A-Thon benefits the foundation’s educational, cultural and recreational activities for residents of Upper and Lower Burrell.
