Memorials for Terry Westman added to Belding library

BELDING — The Alvah N. Belding Library trustees and staff truly appreciates the contributions from patrons throughout the year that help our collection grow.

The following books are all in memory of Terry N. Westman and are ready for circulation. Members of the American Legion Post 203 have an annual golf outing every September in memory of their friend Terry N. Westman. Money raised in the event this past year has purchased the following books.

Books in memory of Terry are adult non-fiction titles pertaining to animals:

• “The Loneliest Polar Bear: A True Story of Survival & Peril on the Edge of a Warming World,” “Lost Companions: Reflections on the Death of Pets,” “Fox & I: an Uncommon Friendship” and “Featherhood: A Memoir of Two Fathers and a Magpie.”

Also in memory of Terry are adult non-fiction titles pertaining to health:

• “Homegrown Cannabis: A Beginner’s Guide to Cultivating Organic Cannabis,” “Runner’s Kitchen: 100 stamina-building, energy-boosting recipes,” “I’m so tired: A Proven Plan to Beat Burnout,” “Cleaning up your Mental Mess : 5 Simple, Scientifically Proven Steps to Reduce Anxiety, Stress, and Toxic Thinking,” “Breathing Cure: Develop New Habits for a Healthier, Happier & Longer Life” and “Two Meals a Day: the Simple, Sustainable Strategy to Lose Fat, Reverse Aging, and Break Free from Diet Frustration.”

The following biographies were added in memory of Terry:

The following books in memory of Terry are adult non-fiction titles of various subjects:

Books on compact disc in memory of Terry include:

• “Sooley” by Josh Grisham, “The Bounty” by Janet Evanovich,” “Fair Warning” by Michael Connelly, “A Gambling Man” and “One Good Deed” both by David Baldacci and “Marauder” and “Fast Ice” both by Clive Cussler.

Adult fiction in memory of Terry includes:

• “The Letter Keeper” by Charles Martin, “The Devil you know” by William Johnstone, “A Man with a Past” by Mary Connealy, “Pickard County Atlas” by Chris Thornton, “Spoils of the Dead” by Dana Stabenow and “Half” by Sharon Harrigan.

Non-fiction titles added to the children’s collection in memory of Terry include:

• “The United States Navy,” “The United States Army” and “The United States Marine Corps.”

A special thank you to the organizers of the continuing golf outing in memory of Terry. Though this kind of remembrance they have enhanced our library’s collection and Terry will be remembered every time the books are opened.
