LunaFest, a program of short films by, for and about women, will be held both virtually and in person this year. Virtually, it will be available for 48 hours from 11 am Thursday, March 31, through 11 am Saturday, April 2, and in-person March 31 at the Cameron Park Community Center at 7 pm Some food and beverage available. Films celebrate unique, touching and inspirational roles of women in local, national and international communities. A silent auction is also featured. Funds support education, especially for women and girls, including the club’s annual Live Your Dream Awards, for women who are the primary breadwinner in the family and are returning to school against steep odds. Funds also support local agencies working to stop human trafficking in the Sacramento and El Dorado County areas.
