for Steubenville Woman’s Club
STEUBENVILLE — The OFWC/GFWC Woman’s Club of Steubenville will meet Monday for a noon luncheon and business meeting at Froehlich’s Classic Corner in Steubenville.
President Carlotta Jordan will preside at the meeting where the program presenter will be Theresa Golden, executive director of Refuge for Women Pittsburgh.
According to its website, Refuge for Women is “a nonprofit, faith-based organization providing specialized long-term housing and emergency housing for women who have escaped human trafficking or sexual exploitation. With multiple locations across the United States, Refuge for Women offers up to 12 months of safe housing, at no charge to the resident, with around-the-clock care as clients progress through evidence-based, trauma-informed programming. We strive to help each woman complete the program with a vision for her future de ella, equipped to succeed and sustain a life marked with dignity and hope.”

Orders through Thursday
for Lenten pierogi sale
WEIRTON — A frozen uncooked cheese and potato pierogi sale sponsored by St. Nicholas Orthodox Church is under way through Thursday.
The cost for a dozen pierogis is $12, and orders can be placed by calling (304) 479-0196. The scheduled order pick-up is April 4 from 11 am to 2 pm at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Hall, 604 Colliers Way, across from Weirton Medical Center.

retiree plan April 14 lunch
STEUBENVILLE — Retirees of Steubenville City Schools met March 10 for lunch at the Ville in Steubenville.
Jeanne D’Anniballe spoke to the group about the Steubenville Art Association’s 150-piece member show that has been on display at the Historic Fort Steuben’s Visitor Center. The next lunch will be April 14 at Capraro’s Restaurant and Lounge in Hopedale.
Indoor yard sale Saturday
to benefit Unionport center
UNIONPORT — The Wayne Township Community Center in Unionport will be the site of a large indoor yard sale on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm
Food will be available. Proceeds will benefit the upkeep of the community center.
Toronto beautification group taking orders for geraniums
TORONTO — The Toronto Beautification Committee’s annual geranium sale is under way with orders being accepted through April 23.
A geranium is $3.85 and is available in red, white, coral, light pink, salmon and dark pink. Order forms can be found in Toronto at Tri B’s Coffee Shop, Subway, the post office, the Sweet Shop and Toronto Apothecary. To order by phone, call (740) 537-4332.
