Ferdinand Branch Library
Donations of gently-used books and puzzles are always welcomed. We are especially in need of young children’s books as those sell quickly at our sales. The Friends cannot take encyclopedias, textbooks, and/or outdated informational books. A donation bin is located in the library near the door to the basement. Thanks to all who replenish our shelves each month.

Read it Forward Program: There is a box of diverse books available that don’t need to be checked out. You simply come in, choose a book from the designated box, and go. You can choose to pass it along to another person or return it. If it is returned, a person can register for a prize.

Hoopla is now available to Patrons for free through their library card. Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, e-audiobooks, and e-books.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a program designed to encourage reading, boost vocabulary, and improve cognitive development in children who have not started Kindergarten. Participants will use the Beanstack app on their digital devices to track their reading. They will also receive a companion notebook that contains stickers and fun activities. For every 100 books that are read & logged on the app, participants will come into the library to be recognized. To participate, register on the Beanstack app & visit your library to pick up the companion notebook.

Jasper Public LibraryThe Friends of the Jasper Public Library are sponsoring a large book and media sale at 425 N. Bret Ct. in JASPER. Thurs. & Fri. 4/14 & 4/15 from 8a-5p and Sat. 4/16 from 8a-12p. Included are Large Print Books & Audiobooks, DVD’s, Fiction, Science Fiction, Cookbooks, Gardening, and many non-fiction genres. ALL proceeds from sales benefits various library programs.
