Out of hundreds of entries, five short UNCSA films have been selected to screen as finalists in the 55th Humboldt International Film Fest in Arcata, California, from April 18-23. Humboldt is the oldest student-run film festival in the world. The UNCSA finalists are:
- “Good Boy Cerberus,” “In Our Nature,” and “Tiger Blanket” in the Animation Program
- “Pink, White & Blue” in the Documentary Program
- “You Know His Name” in the Spotlight Films: Fight For Your Rights Program
Best of Festival Films will be announced and screen in-person in Arcata on Thursday, April 21 at 6 pm and again Friday, April 22. The online Best of Fest program will be available Thursday, April 21-Saturday, April 23. Student Filmmakers will participate in a virtual Q&A on Friday, April 22 at 4 pm EDT. Passes to the online Best of Fest program are $10 for students and $15.00 for the general public.
