Authors Carolyn Stransky and Dost Muhammad Rajper’s new book “Me and Blue” is a collection of poetry that developed over a time of reflection during the COVID pandemic

Carolyn Stransky and Dost Muhammad Rajper, two writers bonded by the camaraderie of poetry, have completed their new book “Me and Blue”: a gripping collection of poetry created by a friendship and writing collaboration. The two partnered on an art site where they could share literature, music, and storytelling in all forms.

Looking for a connection during a chaotic and lonely time, the authors created a Facebook group to share stories and inspiration. Language from the Heart Poetry Facebook page was developed during the COVID pandemic in 2020. Carolyn created a music-and-art page for people to express while the world was in a worldwide lockdown. Carolyn felt that others needed a place of positivity and creativity. That’s where her coauthor, Professor Dost Muhammad Rajper, joined the team as an administrator and collaborator. Others who wish to connect with the group can find it online at https://www.facebook.com/groups/993951471095579/?ref=share.

Stransky said, “We realized we were meant to collide in this common journey. Our art combined expressed some of the most brilliant pieces of poetry work I have ever seen. We realized we are better together. The book therefore began its journey to infancy.”

Published by Page Publishing, this stunning collection features writing from both contributors on myriad topics germane to the human experience. These poems capture all the fear, unknown, struggles, family trials, triumphs, and more that arose during the Coronavirus lockdown, when the only jobs available were Amazon, Federal Express, and Doordash.

Readers who wish to experience this heartfelt work can purchase “Me and Blue” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
